SHARING HOPE FOUNDATION

In October 2008, Lisa Condie Barlow rushed to the hospital in preterm labor; she was only 29 weeks along and carrying twins. Because of great care at University of Utah Hospital, a crisis was averted. Over the course of her pregnancy, Lisa spent two months on bedrest both at home and in the hospital, including time leading up to Christmas. Despite strong support from her family and friends, Lisa was heart-broken to be away from her husband and 3 young kids during the holiday season. An experience she would never forget.

The following year, as the holiday season approached again, Lisa put together a dozen gift baskets with little messages of hope to mothers with high-risk pregnancies staying at the University of Utah Hospital. Thus, Sharing Hope was born. Through the years, Sharing Hope has provided thousands of Bags of Hope Bags of Hope to patients at over 30 hospitals. Today, Sharing Hope continues to bring love and support to women experiencing pregnancy complications and other patients.
